The Fairlight Residents Association was founded in 1948 and membership is open to all residents within the Parish of Fairlight.

The aims of the association

  • To monitor and safeguard the interests of all members
  • To aid in the efficient and economical management of Fairlight Parish
  • To offer assistance, advice and information on matters affecting members by the most appropriate means
  • To encourage interest and support in local affairs and activities

The Association is strictly non-political.

The District Councils register of planning applications is regularly inspected and the committee’s views are expressed to the District Council Planning committee if any issues are apparent.

The Association holds an annual AGM (in May) where officers and committee members are elected/re-elected to committee roles.  The meeting is held in the village hall and all Association members are encouraged to attend.
