One for the tech minded amongst us, Now Fairlight has Fibre direct to the Cabinets around the Village, shouldn't that increase your speed "if you are not signed up" to fibre?
In the past, we, being at the end of the line, and getting the signal all the way from the exchange on copper cable, naturally suffered slower speeds.
Now that speed has been upped to the Boxes, then surely anyone on the old tariff should see an increase, or are they able to slow down anyone not signed up for high speed from the box to your home?
Dave.

Hi Dave - I had a visit from a BT OpenReach engineer yesterday due to Broadband problems. He said that if you're not on high speed fibre your connection doesn't come from the green cabinets but still from the exchange in ( I think he said ) Guestling.
I have no knowledge of these matters but that's what he told me.
