Dear Resident,

Replanting Firehills Hedge Sun 12 Feb 9am - 1pm

Hastings is asking for volunteers to help replant the hedge which was removed as part of the ecological work in 2015. Hastings is providing all equipment and has paid for the hedging plants. Fairlight Parish Council and Fairlight Preservation Trust asked for the replanting when we met Hastings BC and Natural England a year ago, so it is good to see this initiative.

I place below my signature a map showing the hedge in red, together with a copy of Murray Davidson's email giving further details.

Regards,

Anna.

"The Friends Of Hastings Country Park LNR are having their first task morning of 2017 this February, you are more than welcome to join us. This task will be led by Park Ranger Nick Hennessy and we will be planting the hedge on the Fire Hills. This is a fun and very worthwhile project, the results can be enjoyed for years to come.

No previous experience needed, tools and training supplied as well as refreshment. Wear old clothes and stout shoes.

The date and time for event are Sunday 12 February 2017 9am – 1pm, meet at the visitors centre.
