Dear Ron and Colin,

Just to add to the email below.

We have sold 33 Waites Lane and last night it was broken into. The owner left the property at approx. 9.30pm and a neighbour reported a light in the property at 10.30pm – it may be coincidental but worth mentioning. Luckily most of the contents have been moved out so the thieves didn’t get anything of any worth but left a mess.

It would also be good to see if someone can access the security camera at the entrance to Waites Lane (not sure show has access to this) to see what cars/vans came and went between 9.30pm and say Midnight.

The police have been made aware but no real response from them.

Kind regards

Ben at Just Property

Ron,

I'm not sure if it is you that I should be communicating with but perhaps you could pass it on to the right contact for circulation.

Suspicious caller 10pm last night.

I had an unexpected caller last night at 10pm. It was pitch dark and raining hard. The man said that he had come  reference his earlier phone call.

When I said that I had been in all evening and had not received any calls he said he must have the wrong house.

I asked what number house he wanted, confirmed that it was not my house, he apologised and left in the opposite direction to the house that he wanted.

Initially I thought little of it but today I asked the householder if he had been expecting a visitor last night - answer No.

So please make people aware.

We are on Battery Hill,  but the point is that the house is dark from the street and looks empty and with uncollected bins out at present, it gives more of an impression that we are on holiday.

Caller - male, English accent, thin, white, mid thirties, pleasant.

I have informed the police. They have no additional reports.

I hopefully,  I am being paranoid .

Thanks,

Colin Pope
