The Rye Food Bank is still in great need of donations either in money or food.
Pett WI are still collecting food donations for the Food Bank.
Sadly since the loss of our lovely Post Office donations from Fairlight have almost completely stopped.
We now have 3 locations in the Village
A new box at Fairlight Village Hall – outside the doctors surgery door
The Barn – a short walk up from Hair Base on the same side
Wakehams Farm
What is needed?
Dried and tinned foods of all sorts like pasta, rice, tinned beans , spaghetti, tuna, ham, etc breakfast cereals. Long life milk. Pasta sauces. Etc.
All food must be in date and unopened.
The Food Bank aim to give families food to feed a family 3 times a day for 3 days.
So come on Fairlighters, Pett and Icklesham are generous givers so let’s show them we can be the same!
