Wow! What an amazing evening.
So many people braved the chilly evening to come and see the stars and planets last night at Wood Field.
With close up viewings of Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars the night sky really did put on a show for us.
Not a single cloud in sight made for uninterrupted views of what ever we fancied.
Even the moon was stunning through the telescope, with fabulous up-close views of craters, mountain ranges, and valleys.
Hot Chocolate, muffins and cake was on offer for people looking for a quick warm-up between the targets.
A massive thank you to everyone who came along.
Keep an eye out for news of the next viewing session.
